Temperature Sensor - Waterproof Version

This sensor has been specially designed for use outdoors, or for measuring the temperatures of liquids.

The dual sensor has both temperature and humidity measuring capabilities in a single sensor.

Up to 2 sensors can be plugged into RJ-45 jacks on the sensorProbe2 and 8 sensors on the sensorProbe8. Each sensor is connected with a CAT 5 cable of 15 feet fixed length.

When the temperature sensor is plugged into a RJ-45 port, the sensorProbe will automatically detect the sensor, and will display the measured temperature. The sensorProbe's built-in data log and MRTG graphing features record and display the measured data.

Each sensor has its own SNMP OID so that data can be collected over the network and graphed using external application like MRTG.

The temperature sensor can be read using AKCP's free SNMP utilities, enabling remote graphing and datalogging at 0.2°C resolution over your network.
